Burkhardt Residents May be Eligible for Free Home Repairs

Eligibility Requirements

Applicant

You must live in the Burkhardt neighborhood in Dayton, Ohio. At least one person in the home must be over 60 years old or meet the FHLB definition of special needs*

Occupancy The home must be owner-occupied.
Income limit All household members 18 years and older must have a combined gross income under $55,740 (1-2 person household) or $64,101 (3or more person household).
Qualifying homes Homes must be single-family detached homes or eligible two-unit homes.
Qualifying repairs Exterior repairs are prioritized. Eligible home repairs include (but are not limited to): roofs, gutters, downspouts, siding, and handrails.
Repair amount This program can fund up to $17,000 in construction related costs at no cost to you.
Timeline Projects will be started and completed in 2026Eligibility requirements:
