Carrying a Concealed Firearm: On 10/19/2025 at 08:08AM, a person from the 19000 block of Hesperian Blvd called to report a male (near the Target Store) looked at him, pulled a gun from under his sweatshirt, and then placed it back. Officers (later) located and detained the subject near Kennedy Park, who did in fact have a loaded firearm on his person. The subject was arrested without further incident. Case 2025-60401
Assault with a Deadly Weapon: On 10/20/2025 at 2:27PM, the victim was walking on the 22000 block of Mission Blvd when the (Unhoused Hayward) subject approached and stuck the victim with a metal object. The victim defended himself by grabbing a brick and throwing it at the suspect. The victim then walked into a nearby store and the suspect followed behind him. Both began fighting inside of the store and as officers arrived, the suspect tried to walk away but was later detained without incident. The victim sustained minor injuries, and the suspect was arrested for the assault. Case 2025-60652
Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Elderly Abuse, and Possession of a Controlled Substance: On 10/20/2025 at 8:22PM, officers responded to 27182 Patrick (Weekes Park) for a report of a fight. Upon arrival, HPD located the elderly male victim, who had been struck twice with a metal pipe by a known unhoused male subject. The victim sustained head injuries and was admitted to a local hospital in stable condition. The Subject was located nearby and arrested for the charges. Case 2025-60706
Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Possession of a controlled Substance: On 10/23/2025 at 3:32PM, officers responded to a shoplifting call on the 21000 block of Hesperian Blvd. While there, officers contact a known parolee subject who is on probation with a search clause. During a search, a loaded stolen firearm and a controlled substance were recovered. The subject was arrested without further incident. Case 2025-61277
