Violent Crimes detectives Sunday night, with the assistance of a police helicopter and canine officers, arrested Charles Green Fukua, 18, after he was seen driving a stolen Chevrolet Suburban. He continued to drive at a high rate of speed before bailing from the vehicle at a Crossings Boulevard apartment complex where he was taken into custody.
Just prior to his apprehension, Green Fukua tossed a semiautomatic pistol that had been reported stolen in 2024 from a vehicle on Marriott Drive. Three wallets were recovered from the Suburban.
At the time of his arrest Green Fukua, who remains under investigation for additional related crimes, was free on $5,000 bond for an April 2025 auto theft arrest. He is now charged with theft of a vehicle, theft of a firearm, burglary of a motor vehicle, theft of property, and evading arrest. Green Fukua remains jailed on $34,400 bond.
