Tampa General Hospital and Mass General Brigham have opened a new radiation oncology center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Now seeing patients, the facility is the first to open through the health systems' strategic joint venture expanding specialized outpatient care across Florida's East Coast.
Located at Legacy Place, the 10,000-square-foot, the Tampa General Mass General Brigham Cancer Care center was developed in collaboration with the Cancer Center of South Florida, whose physicians provide direct patient care. Tampa General Hospital manages daily operations, while the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute provides quality and safety oversight for clinical and technical care.
The center is the first completed project within the broader joint venture announced in January 2026. The partnership aims to build a coordinated ambulatory care network and expand access to specialty and outpatient services across Florida's East Coast.
Patients will receive care from a multidisciplinary team, including radiation oncologists, radiation therapists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, nurses and patient support professionals. Through collaboration with specialists at Tampa General Hospital and Mass General Brigham, the center will connect patients with academic, research-informed expertise and coordinated treatment planning.
"This milestone reflects the dedication of many clinicians, operational teams and leaders across both organizations," said Daphne Haas-Kogan, MD, radiation oncologist-in-chief of the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute.
