The RA Minister of Finance, Vahe Hovhannisyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Armenia Mansoor Abdullah Al-Sulaitin.

During the meeting, the parties reaffirmed the importance of strengthening friendly and mutually beneficial connections between Armenia and Qatar, which is one of the priorities enshrined in the program of the RA Government.

Minister Hovhannisyan and Ambassador Mansoor Abdullah Al-Sulaitin discussed the prospects for expanding bilateral economic cooperation. In this context, the importance of the Agreement "On the Avoidance of Double Taxation between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the State of Qatar" signed between the two countries was emphasized, which creates favorable conditions for the activation of business connections.

Currently, the two countries plan to deepen cooperation in the investment sector, as well as ensure the exchange of knowledge and experience in the areas of energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and digital transformation.
