YUMA, Ariz. - The City of Yuma invites the community to join in the holiday spirit on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 1 to 9 p.m. on Main Street. This annual celebration will feature music, community performances, and activities for all ages in Downtown Yuma.
The event brings back the synthetic ice-skating rink in the 300 block of Main Street. Open from 1 to 9 p.m. and free to the public, the rink offers a unique chance to skate in Yuma. Skates will be provided at no cost, or participants may bring their own. Skaters must be at least five years old, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Waivers are required, so families are encouraged to arrive early to reserve skating times.
The lighting of the Main Street Christmas tree will take place at 6 p.m. near the Yuma Art Center (254 S. Main Street). Following the tree lighting, families can visit Santa for free photos at the Children's Museum of Yuma County (200 S. Main Street)from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Festive decorations, holiday performances by local groups, food vendors, and a kids' activity zone will add to the fun throughout the day.
"There's something special about seeing Main Street come alive with lights, music, and families celebrating together," said Special Events Coordinator Brissa Garcia. "We're excited to bring back free skating and local performances this year and can't wait to help our community make news holiday memories with us."
