Traffic Advisory Calaveras County 06/19/26

Various Closures On State Routes 4 & 26

Calaveras County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Routes 4 (SR-4) and SR-26 for maintenance and construction work within Calaveras County. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 4

  • One-way traffic control at Little Johns Creek for bridge work beginning Monday, June 22, through Friday, June 1, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • Long-term right shoulder closure from Gardener Lane Bridge to Depot Road for pavement work beginning Monday, June 8, through Friday, July 17.
  • One-way traffic control from Brice Station Road to Forest Meadows Drive for drainage work beginning Tuesday, June 23, through Wednesday, June 24, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

State Route 26

  • One-way traffic control at Stone Corral Creek for bridge work beginning Monday, June 22, through Thursday, June 25, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and on Friday, June 26, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Jenny Lind Road to Heinemann Lane for drainage work beginning Tuesday, June 23, through Friday, June 26, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
