Eric Danos was recently honored as the Lafourche Parish Chamber of Commerce Community Hero of the Year at the Chamber's Annual Awards Banquet held Feb. 5 at the Larose Civic Center.
The award recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional service and commitment to strengthening the community. Eric was recognized in particular for his work with Second Harvest Food Bank, including helping establish the Bayou distribution warehouse, which continues to play a critical role in addressing food insecurity across the region.
Each year, the Chamber celebrates leaders, businesses and volunteers who help make Lafourche Parish a strong and vibrant community. Eric's recognition reflects both his personal dedication and the broader Danos commitment to serving others and supporting communities in times of need.
Congratulations to Eric on this well-deserved honor and for continuing to make a meaningful impact across the Bayou Region.
