China-SCO Scientific, Technical and Innovation Cooperation Forum Opens in Qingdao
On June 29, 2026, the China-SCO Scientific, Technical and Innovation Cooperation Forum was held in Qingdao, People's Republic of China.
The Forum was organized by the China-SCO Center for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Cooperation, established in September 2025.
The event was attended by representatives from government agencies, universities, research institutes, and innovative companies from the greater SCO community.

He emphasized that in the context of rapid technological transformation, international scientific and technical cooperation is of particular importance, and that uniting the intellectual potential of the SCO countries opens up new opportunities for achieving breakthrough results. The Forum has the potential to become an effective platform for sharing experience, discussing promising directions, establishing partnerships, and launching new research initiatives.
