Orrick ranked #3 globally in venture capital transactions for Q3 2025, according to PitchBook, underscoring its sustained leadership advising high-growth companies and investors across the global innovation economy. Orrick once again ranked #1 overall in Europe for its 39th consecutive quarter and #1 in France.

As a testament to the firm's balanced role across the venture ecosystem, approximately half of the nearly 200 deals reported for the quarter were investor-side representations.

Across the first three quarters of 2025, Orrick continued to lead many of the world's most significant transactions at the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and venture capital. According to PitchBook's deal database, the firm ranked top 3 overall for venture capital transactions involving AI companies and their investors globally.* During Q3 2025, the firm worked on more than 100 reported venture capital transactions involving AI companies, representing nearly $19.7 billion in combined deal value.

Among the transactions handled by the firm during Q3, Orrick's venture financing deals included company-side representations of:

  • Anthropic on its US$13 billion Series F financing

  • Redpoint Ventures in its investment in the US$85 million Series A financing of Augment

These transactions highlight Orrick's unique perspective across both sides of the table-helping drive innovation from early-stage funding through pre-IPO while advising leading investors fueling AI's next generation.

Orrick counsels some of the most disruptive companies in the global tech market, with a particular focus on fintech, energy tech, life sciences and healthtech, AI and cloud computing.
