Eastman Chemical Company (NYSE: EMN) announced it has acquired the brand and certain assets related to the Jarylec™ dielectric fluids business from Arkema France. The acquisition includes key trademarks, customer list, technical documentation and intellectual property supporting the dielectric fluids business used in high-voltage transformers and power grid applications.

Eastman will continue to produce dielectric products now under the Jarylec dielectric brand at its existing manufacturing site located in Marl, Germany, leveraging state-of-the-art processes and rigorous quality standards to deliver consistent product performance. The Jarylec dielectric brand has long been recognized in the industry for its trusted performance and reliability.
