A woman involved in the shooting case outside the Justice A. A. Birch Courthouse on 2nd Avenue North last November 10 has been arrested on a charge of being an accessory after the fact.
Rickora A. Walker, 22, was taken into custody today at her workplace. Walker admitted to driving the Dodge SUV from which the shots were fired, although she refused to say who was in the vehicle with her.
The shooting, which resulted in a 50-year-old woman suffering a minor shoulder wound, occurred at 8:40 a.m. on November 10 in the cutout driveway in front of the Birch Building. The victim was a passenger in a car that was stopped in the driveway. Walker drove the Dodge SUV behind the car. The horn started sounding, causing the victim to get out of the car and approach the passenger side of the SUV. Shots were then fired. Walker drove away after the shooting. The SUV was recovered and impounded later that day from a Goodlettsville apartment complex.
The investigation to identify the shooter remains active.
