Leadership transition in Seawolf Athletics
Ryan Swartwood, athletics director, has submitted his resignation from the University of Alaska Anchorage. His final day at UAA will be Oct. 10.
Swartwood has served UAA Athletics since 2019, including the past four years as athletics director. During his tenure, he provided steady leadership and oversight across multiple areas of the department, contributing to the advancement of our athletic programs and student-athlete experience. We thank Ryan for his service to UAA and wish him the best in his next chapter.
