City announces funding opportunity to address homelessness through Continuum of Care program

The City of Colorado Springs announces the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Continuum of Care (CoC) Program. Letters of Intent (LOIs) to apply are due by 5 p.m. on June 22.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is making available $4.04 billion in total funding through the 2026 Continuum of Care competition. As the Collaborative Applicant for the Pikes Peak Continuum of Care (PPCoC), the City of Colorado Springs is encouraging and supporting participation by local organizations in the application process to help the community access funding for homelessness outreach, supportive services and housing programs.

The 2026 CoC Program NOFO includes new opportunities for expanded partnerships. The City encourages eligible agencies serving people experiencing homelessness to learn more about the program and apply.

A free informational webinar will be held Wednesday, June 17, from 4 to 5 p.m. Interested organizations can register and submit questions in advance through the registration link. Letters of Intent will be accepted beginning June 16, and are due by 5 p.m. on June 22. To learn more about this funding opportunity, visit PikesPeakCOC.org/hud-coc-nofo.

To receive information about the competition, subscribe to the PPCoC newsletter at Pikes Peak Continuum of Care.

The City serves as the Collaborative Applicant for the Pikes Peak Continuum of Care and is responsible for coordinating the local funding competition and submitting the community's application to HUD. The City is partnering with Pikes Peak United Way, which now serves as the lead agency for the Pikes Peak Continuum of Care, to support implementation and community coordination.
