Harnett Correctional Institution to hold hiring event Sat. March 28
The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is hosting a March 28 hiring event for Correctional Officer candidates at Harnett Correctional Institution.

The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is hosting a hiring event for Correctional Officer candidates at Harnett Correctional Institution. Full and part-time positions are available. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates hired into full-time correctional officer positions.
If you would like to take the first steps towards a career in public safety, join us this Saturday. Candidates can apply online or in-person and come prepared for an interview.

The minimum requirements to be a correctional officer are:
- Must be 18 or older.
- Must be a US citizen or lawful permanent resident (3+ years).
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.
