Metropolitan issues latest update on Weymouth Water Treatment Plant fire incident

The potential hazards to the community from the battery energy system at Metropolitan's La Verne facility have been mitigated, the La Verne Fire Department has determined. All evacuations have been lifted. The drinking water supply has not been impacted by this incident and continues to be safe.
