PROTON LAUNCHES LUBRICANTS RANGE

- Proton Genuine Oil to be used at all authorized service centers

Subang Jaya, 15 October 2021- Malaysian car manufacturer PROTON today announced the launch of a range of lubricants formulated exclusively for its cars. Marketed under the company's genuine parts range, there are four grades in the Proton Genuine Oil (PGO) line up, dubbed PGO 1 to PGO 4, comprising fully synthetic, semisynthetic and mineral lubricants.

Leveraging on its close working relationship with its technical partners, the PGO range of lubricants are formulated specifically for Proton's engines by Petronas. Available in 5W30 SP, 5W30 SN, 10W30 SN and 15W40 SN viscosity levels with API SP and API SN ratings, they are now available at all authorized Proton service center's. The lubricants will also be available from parts stockiest, though this is currently limited to only the PGO 3 and PGO 4.

We worked closely with our partners on the formulation to ensure it met our exacting requirements and offered our customers the engine protection their Proton models deserve at an affordable price. By having a full list of products, we are also able to cover our entire model range including the latest TGDI engines used by our SUVs.
