Color, Creativity & Community Fill The Streets at SouthGlenn

Published on September 12, 2026

The Streets at SouthGlenn came alive with color Saturday, September 12, as nearly 150 artists participated in the transformation of sidewalks into works of art during Centennial's annual Chalk Art Festival.

Community members spent the day exploring the artwork, enjoying live music, visiting local vendors and businesses and watching colorful creations take shape across the festival grounds.

Festivalgoers also helped recognize some of the day's standout artwork by casting votes for their favorites. Awards were presented in three categories: People's Choice, Kids' Choice and Artist's Choice.

And the winners are…

People's Choice

  1. Marissa Sirois and Michelle Kattchee, "Colorful Colorado"
  2. Kyley Flynn, "A Lil More Dolly"
  3. Lily Stalilonis, "Fish in a Bubble"
