Hollister, Taney County - The Missouri Route 76 Slide Repair Project between Lake Shore Drive & Business Route 65 in Hollister is to begin in January 2027, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
The project was originally scheduled to start in August 2026, but has been postponed to January 2027. This adjustment will help the contractor reduce traffic disruptions and lessen the impact on the traveling public.
A public meeting will be held before construction begins to share information about the schedule, planned roadwork, and anticipated traffic impacts. The first public meeting for this project took place in August 2025.

Contractor: KCI Construction Company, of St. Louis, MO
Construction is scheduled to begin in January 2027, with completion in May 2027.
The estimated construction cost is $6.7 million.
