'Link or Treat' Event

October 8, 2025 - ROCHESTER, MNN. - The City of Rochester invites community members of all ages to celebrate the season at Link or Treat, a free family-friendly event on Tuesday, October 21, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Held along the future Link Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) corridor, the event offers an opportunity to learn more about Rochester's first-ever BRT system while enjoying festive Halloween activities. Families are encouraged to come in costume and take part in trick-or-treating, games and activities designed for kids of all ages.

"The Link project is about building a fast, reliable and sustainable transportation option for our community," says Steve Sampson Brown, Director of Construction for the City of Rochester. "Link or Treat is a fun way for families to connect with the project team, get updates on construction and celebrate Halloween together."

  • What: Link or Treat - A family Halloween celebration
  • When: Tuesday, October 21, 2025 | 5 - 7 p.m.
  • Where: 2nd Street SW at 12th Avenue (in the Link construction zone)
    Free and open to the public

The Link project will transform how people move through Rochester by providing a reliable, fare-free transit option that connects key destinations across the city. Construction is underway, with service anticipated to begin in Summer 2027.
