10-Year T-Note futures fall ahead of Wednesday FOMC meeting.

Todd Colvin of Mark IV Brokerage discusses the recent decline in 10-Year note yields, which opened the week lower at 4.63%, down over 4 bps from Friday's close. Despite a slight mid-session move higher, yields ultimately closed near 4.64%. Colvin notes that this action reflects falling oil prices and easing inflationary pressures. He also highlights the 2-Year and 5-Year Treasury auctions, which saw limited impact on trading ahead of Wednesday's critical FOMC meeting. Finally, Colvin looks at the corresponding drop in the CVOL Index as Middle East tensions eased, while previewing upcoming economic data including the ADP employment change and Consumer Confidence.
