Portion of Holdrege Street to Close Beginning June 30

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that eastbound Holdrege Street between 48th and 49th streets will close beginning Tuesday, June 30, for water main repairs. This work is expected to be completed by Wednesday, July 8.
The recommended detour is 48th Street to Vine Street. Local access to homes and businesses in the area will be maintained.
StarTran Route 42-Bethany will be detoured during this work. For more information on StarTran routes and detours, visit lincoln.ne.gov/transit or call 402-476-1234.
Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around this closure. LTU appreciates the public's patience during these closures and reminds residents that project start and end dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
