Midwest Bank Announces Justin Wemhoff as Chief Credit Officer

September 14, 2026 (Norfolk, Nebraska) - Midwest Bank is pleased to announce that Justin Wemhoff has joined the Midwest Bank team in Norfolk as Chief Credit Officer.

Justin brings extensive banking industry and regulatory experience to Midwest Bank. A native of Humphrey, Nebraska, he graduated from Humphrey St. Francis High School in 2004 before earning a Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in December 2009.

For the past 16 years, Justin has worked for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), where he has developed extensive expertise in banking and financial institutions. In 2016, he became a commissioned National Bank Examiner, a role that further strengthened his knowledge of credit quality, risk management, and banking operations. As Chief Credit Officer, Justin will help guide Midwest Bank's credit administration and lending strategies while supporting the bank's continued growth and commitment to serving customers and communities throughout Nebraska.
