Celebration of the International Navruz Holiday at the permanent missions of the Republic of Tajikistan abroad

A series of festive events took place on 21 March 2026 in Cambridge, 28 March 2026 in London and 30 March in Glasgow to celebrate the International Navruz Day. In the framework of these events the cultural corners, showcasing of Navruz traditions and dishes from the national cuisine were presented to guests.

It should also be noted that on 21 March a roundtable discussion was held in Cambridge within the framework of the Central Asia Forum at University of Cambridge, focusing on strengthening regional cooperation for the development of green economy.

Furthermore, on 28 and 30 March a concert program was organized for members of Persian-speaking community, compatriots and international guests, featuring renowned Tajik artists, Mehrnigori Rustam and Safarmuhammad.

On March 21, 2026, the Embassy of Tajikistan in France organized a festive event in Paris on the occasion of the International Day of Navruz with the participation of compatriots and representatives of the Tajik community residing in France.

In the Republic of Korea, events dedicated to the international holiday of Navruz were held on March 21, 2026, at the Asian Cultural Center in Gwangju, and on March 22, 2026, at Ttukseom Park on the Han River in Seoul. The program included traditional Tajik songs, music, and dances performed by the country's leading artists, as well as a presentation of the festive table consisting of "Haftsin", "Haftshin" and national dishes.

Also on March 24, 2026, the Forum "Navruz: A Bridge Connecting Cultures and Civilizations" was held in Seoul.

On March 30, 2026, at the «Grand Hotel» Vienna, a grand cultural event dedicated to «International day of Navruz» was held in collaboration with the embassies of the Navruz region and the "Diplomatic Society" journal.
