How to Check NEET UG Round 1 Seat Allotment Result

  1. Visit the official portal at mcc.nic.in and select the UG Medical tab.
  2. Click on the active link "NEET UG Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2026".
  3. Log in using your Roll Number, Application Number, and Password.
  4. View your allotted college, branch, and category status.
  5. Download and print your official Provisional Allotment Letter.

NEET UG 2026: Next Steps After the Allotment Result is Released

Candidates who are allotted a seat in Round 1 must choose one of the following paths:

  • Accept Seat & Freeze: If satisfied with the allotted college, candidates must download the allotment letter, report physically to the designated institute between August 22 and August 31, 2026, and complete document verification and fee payment to secure their admission.
  • Accept Seat & Opt for Upgradation (Float): Candidates who accept the current seat but wish to try for a higher preference in Round 2 must report to the allotted college, complete reporting formalities, and opt for "Upgradation" on the candidate portal.
  • Free Exit: Round 1 offers a "Free Exit" option. Candidates who do not wish to join the allotted college can simply skip physical reporting without forfeiting their security deposit. They remain eligible to participate directly in Round 2.
