October is Substance Use and Misuse Prevention Month
Each October, communities across the country observe Substance Use and Misuse Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness about the dangers of substance misuse and to promote strategies that prevent the use and misuse of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. It's also a time to celebrate the tireless efforts of individuals and organizations working to keep our communities safe, healthy, and resilient.
