Lane Closures Planned on Abrams Road July 29-31

Drivers should expect temporary lane closures on Abrams Road from Wednesday, July 29, through Friday, July 31, weather permitting, while crews complete underground storm drain pipe-lining work.

Closures will be in place from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. each day.

Wednesday, July 29
Work will take place within the Abrams Road and Spring Valley Road intersection.

• Traffic will be reduced to one lane on the south, east and west sides of the intersection.
• The traffic signal will operate as a flashing red light in all directions.
• Drivers should treat the intersection as an all-way stop and use caution.

Thursday, July 30, and Friday, July 31
Crews will work on Abrams Road between Highland Boulevard and Maple Street.

• The southbound lane will be closed in the work area.
• Traffic will be shifted to the northbound side of Abrams Road, with one lane maintained in each direction.

Drivers should allow extra travel time, follow posted signs and use caution near crews and equipment.
