Overnight Construction Work on Houbolt Road Friday, June 26 into Saturday, June 27

JOLIET, Ill. - The City of Joliet is notifying residents and motorists that overnight roadway repairs will take place on Houbolt Road tonight (Friday, June 26) between approximately 1:00 and 2:00 a.m. Crews will perform targeted grinding operations to address pavement distress in the area.

During this work, flaggers will be present to direct traffic through the construction zone. While Houbolt Road will remain open, temporary delays and single-lane traffic should be expected. Drivers are encouraged to slow down, use caution, and follow all instructions from onsite personnel.

These repairs are being scheduled during overnight hours to minimize traffic impacts and improve roadway safety as efficiently as possible.
