Prague-Global law firm Dentons has advised Czech-based global chemicals producer Draslovka on the successful US$325 million issuance of 11% senior secured notes due 2030 in the Nordic debt markets.
The transaction marks Draslovka's debut in the international capital markets and makes the company the first Czech issuer to access the Nordic bond market. The bond issuance was executed exclusively with Pareto Securities and is intended primarily to refinance existing financing commitments, including the Term Loan B facility originally arranged in connection with Draslovka's 2021 acquisition of Chemours Mining Solutions from The Chemours Company.
Dentons also advised Draslovka on the original US$520 million acquisition financing in 2021, supporting the company through another significant milestone in its international growth and financing strategy.
The Nordic bond issuance forms part of Draslovka's broader strategy to optimize its capital structure, reduce financing costs and support long-term value creation through a more streamlined and predictable balance sheet.
