Students, faculty and staff showed their support for Breast Cancer Awareness on Oct. 22 by wearing pink T-shirts.
Western Nevada College students, faculty and staff came together today in the Dini Student Center to support Breast Cancer Awareness.
Carson City Health & Human Services provided valuable information about risk factors, early detection, mammograms, treatment options and more - reinforcing the importance of education and prevention in the fight against breast cancer.
Participants also showed their support by wearing pink ribbons, bracelets and shirts while taking part in creative activities and enjoying refreshments. They also wrote messages to friends and family who are fighting the disease.
Together, we continue to raise awareness and stand in solidarity with those affected by breast cancer.
