To encourage individuals to voice their concerns, Western Washington University has an anonymous reporting hotline, which provides the opportunity to report concerns in an anonymous manner.
The anonymous reporting hotline is a resource to confidentially report your concerns and support a safe, ethical community at Western Washington University. The hotline can be used to report concerns in the following categories: academic and student affairs, accounting and financial, athletics, human resources, information technology, research, risk and safety, and concerns in other areas. Examples of violations include academic misconduct, conflicts of interest, misuse of university assets, theft of university property, unsafe working conditions, hostile work environment, data privacy, research misconduct, and other violations of laws, rules, or regulations.
The hotline is meant for reporting concerns in situations where you may not feel comfortable speaking with a supervisor or other resource. This hotline may be used by members of our community, such as students, faculty, and staff.
While you have the option to remain anonymous when submitting your report, you can choose to identify yourself and share your contact information with the University so that we can reach out to you directly if additional details are needed.

Your commitment to integrity and honesty is an important element in maintaining an ethical and secure workplace environment for everyone. Your help in calling attention to unethical or irregular practices is greatly appreciated. To encourage employees to report potential wrongdoing, it is against University policy for anyone associated with WWU to retaliate against those who report suspected wrongdoing in good faith.
