Days of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Celebration of Navruz in the Republic of Belarus

On April 28, 2026, the opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Belarus was held in the ceremonial hall of the Palace of the Republic in Minsk.

The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Marat Markov, and the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan Matlubakhon Sattoriyon, congratulated the attendees on the occasion of the Days of Culture and shared their views on various aspects of bilateral cooperation and prospects for its expansion.

The cultural program featured performances by the "Gulrez" dance ensemble, renowned performers of Tajikistan, as well as the State Symphony Orchestra of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the opening ceremony, at the initiative of the Embassy, a festive event dedicated to the International Day of Navruz was held. Guests were presented with national traditions, including the "Haft Sin" and "Haft Shin" customs, a book corner dedicated to the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, as well as exhibitions of national costumes, folk crafts, embroidery, photographic materials, and the traditional dastarkhan.

As part of the Days of Culture, an exhibition of paintings titled "Beauty of Tajikistan: Heritage for the Future" was held at the National Library of the Republic of Belarus, along with the Days of Tajik Cinema at the Pobeda cinema.

Days of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan continue in the cities of Vitebsk and Molodechno.
