Curia Global Announces Recapitalization with Its Financial Stakeholders to Support Long-Term Growth

ALBANY, NY - July 8, 2026 - Curia Global (together with its affiliates, collectively "Curia" or the "Company"), a leading global contract research, development, and manufacturing organization ("CDMO"), announced that it has successfully reached agreement on the key terms of a recapitalization transaction that is expected to reinforce the Company's financial foundation and position it for long-term success. The transaction is led by funds managed by affiliates of Apollo (the "Apollo Funds") and has the support of all the Company's key financial stakeholders.

Through the transaction, Curia will significantly strengthen its balance sheet and secure new capital to continue investing in its global facilities, scientific capabilities, and the people and infrastructure that underpin its best-in-class service to customers across the drug development spectrum. Upon closing the transaction, Apollo Funds will be the majority holders of the Company's equity.

"Today's announcement marks a pivotal milestone for our company as we position Curia for long-term success," said Phil Macnabb, Chief Executive Officer of Curia Global. "We have built a more than three-decade track record as a trusted partner to biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies worldwide, and I am confident that this transaction will position us to build on that legacy for years to come. I am deeply grateful to our employees, customers, and partners for their continued support, and we remain fully committed to delivering the high-quality products and services our customers and their patients depend on."

"Curia plays an important role bolstering research, development and manufacturing capabilities for pharmaceutical and biotech companies that are improving the lives of patients globally," said Jeff Armstrong, Managing Director at Apollo. "We are committed to supporting Curia as it advances its mission of leading the CDMO industry in scientific excellence and unmatched customer service."

The definitive agreement is expected to be signed in the coming weeks, and the transaction is expected to close later this year, subject to customary closing conditions.
