Dentons advises Acclime on conditional acquisition of specialist technology-led independent trustee and fund administration business, Polar 993

Australia-Dentons, the world's largest law firm, has advised Acclime, a leading provider of corporate, governance, advisory and fund services across the Asia-Pacific region and global markets, on its conditional acquisition of Polar 993. Polar 993 is a specialist technology-led independent trustee and fund administration business headquartered in Melbourne.

This conditional acquisition follows Acclime's (a portfolio company of Warburg Pincus) continued investment in financial services and technology, following its recent acquisitions of Bourke Group in Melbourne, Boutique Capital and Capital Architects in Sydney and Rockburgh Fund Services in New Zealand.

The strategic acquisition, once regulatory approvals are completed, will combine Polar 993's advanced technology platform into Acclime's regional platform extending Acclime's fund services capabilities across Australia, New Zealand and globally. Polar 993 provides institutional-grade trustee, responsible entity, fund accounting, custody, registry and compliance services to fund managers across the private equity, venture capital, private credit and real estate asset classes.
