“Sunday Dinner” Reservations Ending Wednesday at Noon

WHAT

MSS will host its monthly "Sunday Dinner" event at Scarritt Bennett from 12:30pm - 2pm, Sept. 27, 2026 (Sunday). Davidson County individuals and families desiring a relaxed and inviting restaurant environment where they can sit, dine, and fellowship are welcome. Reservations are required.

Those interested must book no later than 12 p.m. noon, Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

While there, resource and support services information will be provided to those facing hardships and needing help gaining stability and support in their life. MSS Social workers will also be on-site answering questions. *Note* case management will not be done on site, however, should attendees want to set up a future appointment, staff will be happy to assist in doing so.

In August, MSS launched "Sunday Dinner" as part of its new "Community Connect" initiative in which the department periodically takes its services outside its office and directly to communities in need.
