Kerrigan in Real Clear Policy: Tax Fairness and Clarity Will Help Usher in a Golden Age of American Entrepreneurship

In a new Real Clear Policy Op-Ed, SBE Council president & CEO Karen Kerrigan points to a new report revealing that tax enforcement uncertainty is undermining small business investment and growth. Moreover, many small business owners are not using federal tax incentives meant to boost investment because of their concerns about audit unpredictability and aggressive IRS tactics. Kerrigan writes:

"Tax enforcement must be fair and predictable. Pairing balanced and fair enforcement with President Trump's historical tax relief will produce a new era of American entrepreneurship and small business growth" and the level of economic growth and innovation being pursued by the Administration and business supporters in Congress.
