In October 2016, AdvanSix began our journey as an independent public company. This launch was more than a milestone marked by our new name or the ringing of the bell at the New York Stock Exchange. It was the beginning of a new chapter, one defined by making a material impact on everyday life through the products we deliver to the world through the power of good chemistry.
Reflecting on a decade of chemistry in action
For the past 10 years, our core values of safety, integrity, accountability and respect have been the foundation of how we work, how we partner with our customers and how we create positive impact together. Among our key accomplishments:
-
Increased access to domestic fertilizer while reducing environmental impacts and water usage through our SUSTAIN program.
-
Invested significant capital investments since 2018 to improve AdvanSix's emissions and energy footprint - specifically our annual carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions have been reduced by more than 300,000 tons.
-
Helped customers achieve sustainability goals by employing up to 100% mass balance recycled content, certified by SCS Global Services and ISCC PLUS, for Post-Industrial Recycled (PIR) and Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) grades Aegis® nylon.
-
Expanded our capabilities in agriculture, rubber processing, pharmaceuticals, textiles, alcohol solvents and water treatments by expanding our U.S. footprint to two additional manufacturing sites, as well as a strategically located ammonium sulfate packaging and distribution facility.
-
Empowered new generations through our partnership with the Future of STEM Scholars Initiative (FOSSI) to provide scholarships and support to students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
-
Achieved Responsible Care® certification from the American Chemistry Council for 100% of our manufacturing sites.
-
In 2025, we were recognized with a Gold rating by EcoVadis, an independent corporate social responsibility assessment agency, putting the company in the top 3% of all companies assessed.
-
Earned an A- score from CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) in water stewardship, representing Leadership-level environmental transparency and performance.
-
Recognized by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) New Jersey Chapter as a recipient of the 2023 Annual Director of the Year Awards for Public Company Board of the Year.
