Annual Boulder Strong Day of Remembrance to be Held March 22, 2026

On March 22, 2021, Boulder lost 10 community members, including a Boulder police officer, in a mass shooting. The City of Boulder remains committed to creating a space to honor and remember those who lost their lives that day, and to offer support to all who need it.

"March 22 will always mark a moment of deep remembrance in Boulder. It is a day to reflect on those who were taken from us and to stand with the families, friends and community members whose lives were changed forever," said City of Boulder Mayor Aaron Brockett. "We will continue to acknowledge the lasting impact of that day, honor the legacy of those we lost and find comfort in our resilience as a community."

The community is invited to join the city and its partners at this year's Day of Remembrance gathering.

  • When: March 22 from 4 to 4:30 p.m. Doors open at 3:30 p.m.
  • Where: The Museum of Boulder, 2205 Broadway, Boulder, CO
  • Cost: The event is free and open to the public
