Springfield, IL (June 23, 2026) - BRANDT has promoted Dalton Knerrer to Research Farm Manager.
In his new role, Knerrer will lead the coordination and execution of field research trials that support the objectives of both BRANDT Agronomic Services and BRANDT Specialty Formulations. His work will focus on generating data-driven insights that help farmers improve productivity and maximize return on investment through proven products and management practices.
Knerrer will work closely with agronomy and product management teams to maximize the value of BRANDT's 300-acre research farm in Pleasant Plains, Illinois. The farm serves as a key resource for evaluating products, validating agronomic practices and delivering meaningful results for BRANDT customers.
Knerrer holds a Master of Science degree in Crop Sciences from the University of Illinois. He will report to Director of Agronomy, Eric Winans, Ph.D., and work closely with Research Farm Operations Manager Tom Kimes.
