Cactus Yards Reclaims USSSA Outstanding Park of the Year Title

Gilbert, Ariz- Cactus Yards has been named the Outstanding Park of the Year by the United States Specialty Sport Association (USSSA), marking the sixth time the complex has earned the national honor.

Selected based on feedback from coaches and players participating in the 2025 USSSA baseball season, Cactus Yards received top marks in key categories including park amenities, cleanliness, affordability and more. Cactus Yards earned an impressive 77 out of 80 in the following categories:

1. Park Amenities- 10/10
2. Sliders Concessions (Craft Culinary)- 9.5/10
3. Field Conditions- 8/10
4. Field Maintenance- 9.5/10
5. Park Cleanliness- 10/10
6. Park Management- 10/10
7. Staff Courtesy-10/10
8. Affordability- 10/10

Since opening in 2019, Cactus Yards has now been recognized as an Outstanding Park of the year six out of seven years of operation.

"We take pride in creating a place where athletes of all ages can have an exceptional experience," said Michael Elliott, Gilbert Parks and Recreation Director. "This award reflects that commitment from our entire team."

Located at 4536 E. Elliot Road in Gilbert, Cactus Yards features eight replica fields inspired by iconic ballparks, including Wrigley Field, Fenway Park, and Chase Field. The complex also features a 20,000-square-foot indoor fieldhouse, batting cages, playground, and on-site dining options.
