The purpose of this memorandum is to notify you that the Department of War Office of Inspector General (DoW OIG) is initiating the subject review.* We will perform this review in accordance with the Office of National Drug Control Policy Circular "National Drug Control Program Agency Compliance Reviews," September 9, 2021. The Circular requires the DoW to provide budget formulation compliance reports to the Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy. The DoW OIG is required to authenticate the reports and express a conclusion about the reliability of the assertions made in the reports.
