HANetf has listed the Ukraine Reconstruction UCITS ETF (UKRN) on the London Stock Exchange today, marking the launch of the world's first ETF dedicated to Ukraine's reconstruction and long-term economic integration with Europe.
The listing represents more than the introduction of a new thematic ETF. It reflects the growing role of public capital markets in supporting Ukraine's recovery, industrial modernisation and alignment with European standards.
At launch, the portfolio is primarily composed of established European and global listed companies positioned to deliver large-scale infrastructure, energy, industrial and defence-related projects. These firms are expected to play a central role in reconstruction activity under EU-aligned regulatory frameworks.
UKRN has also been designed to accommodate Ukrainian companies as they turn to public markets. The ETF is designed to act as a transparent, rules-based vehicle capable of allocating capital to Ukrainian enterprises as listings emerge and liquidity develops.
Beyond the investment exposure, HANetf has committed to 'Ukraine's redevelopment' by charitable donations, backing the Ukrainian Federation of Rugby League and sponsoring Ukrainian professionals undertaking financial qualifications in the United Kingdom - initiatives aimed at strengthening institutional and financial capacity alongside reconstruction.
Hector McNeil, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of HANetf comments:
"Reconstruction is not simply about rebuilding physical infrastructure. It is about aligning Ukraine's economy with Europe and developing transparent, functioning capital markets that can support long-term growth.
We see UKRN as both an investment vehicle and part of the capital-market architecture that can support Ukrainian companies as they access international capital markets. Public markets will play an important role in Ukraine's long-term economic resilience, and we are proud to mark this launch here at the London Stock Exchange."
