PumpkinMania at Transylvania University returns this fall for its 15th year, bringing one of the region's most popular Lexington fall festivals back to campus. The free, family-friendly event draws thousands of visitors each year to enjoy pumpkin carving, food trucks and an unforgettable jack-o'-lantern display.
This year's theme, "Carved in History," celebrates Transylvania's nearly 250-year role in shaping Lexington's story. The steps of Old Morrison, a National Historic Landmark, will once again glow with hundreds of carved pumpkins - a seasonal highlight that has even been featured on "Good Morning America."
PumpkinMania is free and open to the public. Pumpkins are provided for carving but must be reserved here in advance. Spots fill quickly, so early reservations are encouraged.
Since its debut in 2011, PumpkinMania has grown into one of the most anticipated Halloween events in Kentucky. The event blends community, creativity and history, making it a can't-miss celebration for alumni, families and visitors alike. Learn more and plan your visit.
