ASBURY PARK, NJ - NJ TRANSIT is branding its North Jersey Coast Line rail service as "Bleachers Coast Line" to celebrate the band's annual "Shadow of the City" Festival at the legendary Stone Pony in Asbury Park on August 28.
The temporary renaming of the line will appear across select signage, digital assets, and social media channels to create a fun, Jersey-forward moment for fans.
"The renaming of the North Jersey Coast Line to "Bleachers Coast Line" brings instant recognition of summer at the Jersey shore," said NJ TRANSIT President and CEO Kris Kolluri. "We are grateful to the band and to Asbury Park for their partnership."
The band's leader, Jack Antonoff, a proud New Jersey native, is central to the collaboration, reflecting his deep ties to the state's music culture and community.
"Bleachers and NJ TRANSIT come together - thrilled to share the 'Bleachers Coast Line' with you all. See you at Shadow of the City on Friday!" said Jack Antonoff of Bleachers.
The partnership celebrates the pride New Jerseyans have for the deep musical legacy the state and Asbury Park are known for while also encouraging concert goers to use NJ TRANSIT to get to the Stone Pony, reducing traffic and providing an easy, reliable travel option.
NJ TRANSIT and Bleachers will collaborate on co-branded content, including day-of social storytelling and fan engagement.
