Marin County - Caltrans will continue its Capital Preventive Maintenance project in February on Westbound State Route 37 (SR-37) in between US-101 and the Petaluma River Bridge in Novato for concrete barrier and final striping work.
There will be daytime closures on Westbound SR-37 from Tuesday, Feb. 3 through Friday, Feb. 6. Work will occur between about 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day.
The Westbound SR-37 connector ramp to Northbound US-101 is scheduled to be closed intermittently throughout the week from 9 a.m. until about 5 p.m. as well as the Hanna Ranch Road on-ramp to Westbound SR-37.
Detours
For the connector ramp, drivers should follow the detour to Bel Marin Keys Boulevard and re-enter Northbound US-101 from there. For the Hanna Ranch Road on-ramp closure, please use Eastbound SR-37 to Atherton Avenue and re-enter Westbound SR-37 from there.
All construction Is weather dependent.
This capital maintenance pavement rehabilitation project involves paving and median barrier work in Novato. The project will grind and re-pave the roadway between the Ignacio overhead to the Petaluma River Bridge - a stretch of about three miles.
