The head of the Executive reiterated to Philippe Lazzarini Spain's firm support for the organisation as an essential pillar for the survival of millions of Palestinians in a global context aggravated by the conflict in Iran.

During the meeting, they discussed the international context, and President Sánchez expressed his concern about the serious humanitarian situation in Gaza, where, despite the ceasefire, peace has not yet been achieved. In this regard, Spain has reiterated the need for UN agencies and other NGOs to be able to operate in the Palestinian territories without restrictions within the framework of international law.
