WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Rep. Glenn Grothman for Wisconsin's Sixth Congressional District. The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will support policies that drive innovation, grow the economy, and create opportunities for American businesses and workers.
"The U.S. Chamber is proud to endorse Congressman Glenn Grothman to represent Wisconsin's Sixth Congressional District. Congressman Grothman has been a consistent advocate for free enterprise policies that support job creators, expand economic opportunity, and reduce unnecessary regulatory burdens on businesses. His commitment to strengthening Wisconsin's workforce and creating a competitive environment for employers has made him an important partner for the business community. We look forward to continuing to work together in the 120th Congress," said John Kirchner, Vice President of the Chamber's Midwest regional office.
"Congressman Grothman throughout his career has been focused on growing Wisconsin's manufacturing sector. From authoring the state's manufacturing and agriculture tax credit to voting for incentives for manufacturers to expand their facilities in the United States, Congressman Grothman has been a champion for manufacturers and their employees. We thank Congressman Grothman for his tireless work to bring well-paying, family sustaining manufacturing jobs to Wisconsin," said Kurt Bauer, President and CEO of Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce.
