Washington, D.C. - United States Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Ranking Member of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee released the following statement:
"Donald Trump promised to lower costs 'on day one.' Instead, he keeps raising them. First, his chaotic tariffs drove prices higher. Now, his war with Iran is pushing them up even more. Today's data shows families paid more for food, transportation, and health care in March. And gas prices just hit a four-year high. Trump's promises are in tatters, and Americans are paying the price."
