Congressman Langworthy Delivers $1 Million to Town of Randolph to

Fund Sanitary Sewer System Improvements

WASHINGTON, D.C.-January 15, 2026…Congressman Nick Langworthy today announced that he has delivered $1 million in federal funding to the Town of Randolph for sanitary sewer system improvements, a critical investment to modernize the town's aging wastewater treatment facility and ensure compliance with updated New York State Department of Environmental Conservation permit standards.

The funding will support upgrades to the wastewater treatment system, including the addition of required effluent disinfection, helping protect water quality in Little Conewango Creek, while safeguarding public health and the environment.

"This is a smart, necessary investment in essential infrastructure that the residents of Randolph rely on every day," said Congressman Nick Langworthy. "By modernizing this facility, we are protecting local waterways, ensuring regulatory compliance, and reducing the financial burden on local taxpayers who would otherwise be forced to shoulder these costs on their own. I'm proud to deliver this funding that prioritizes public health, creates good-paying construction jobs and ensures the Village of Randolph has the infrastructure in place to support economic development and growth."
