Weekend Traffic Impacts for October 5 Fall Classic 5K

The City of Cambridge is notifying residents, businesses, and visitors of street closures and traffic impacts Sunday, October 5 for the Fall Classic 5K Road Race. Please follow all posted detour signage, plan ahead , and consider using alternative routes or modes of transportation.

Sunday, October 5: Fall Classic 5K Road Race

  • Street Closures and Impacts:
    • Sidney Street between Franklin Street and Pacific Street closed
    • Franklin Street between Brookline Street and Sidney Street closed
  • Time of Closures:
    • Sidney Street (Franklin St. to Pacific St.): 9:00 - 11:00 AM
    • Franklin Street (Brookline St. to Sidney St.): 9:15 - 11:00 AM
  • Additional Street Impacts (Rolling Closures During Race):
    • Pacific St. to Albany St.: 9:30 - 9:40 AM
    • Albany St. to Massachusetts Ave: 9:32 - 9:40 AM
    • Massachusetts Ave. (Albany St. to Putnam Ave.): 9:33 - 9:50 AM
    • Putnam Ave. (Mt. Auburn St. to Brookline St.): 9:40 - 10:05 AM
    • Brookline Street (Putnam Ave. to Franklin St.): 9:45 - 10:15 AM
